Do house wife’s need term insurance even if they are not earning ?

Today, i had taken Bharati Axa  e-protect online term cover for 60 Lacs with the help of their customer care representative.

At the end he said , they offer life cover for house wife’s as well. that question suddenly put me in dilemma. Do house wife’s non-earning member really need life insurance ?

    Dear Kumar, how much financial loss ‘ll be there if your wife dies today? Take cover on her life for that loss amount?
