Do FMPs also have Direct & Broker Option like MF

With a plethora of FMPs  opening on a daily basis at this time of the year, my doubt is do these FMPs also have a Direct & Broker Option. If yes, then it would mean a better Maturity Value for Direct Option?

    Yes they do. However the expense ratio difference appear to be much smaller (I saw 0.05 difference in one) and for short time periods (3 yrs says) it should not make much of a difference in returns.

      .05% !!! Really ?? So low.

      Am in the thought process of parking couple of lac of rupees in an approx. 390 day FMP before the end of March 2013 to avail double indexation benefit. (Ofcourse it is subject to the current tax laws not being tampered with in the next year’s budget!!)

      A .05% difference would only make a difference of Rs.100 on 2 lac FMP for 390 days. Not worth the effort of drivng to CAMS Office and doing the paper work.
