I hav my demat account with indiabulls,
as their yearly fee and charges for delivery trades are high, I want to shift to a discount broker,
i have heard of zerodha but they charge for trade on call, so is their any broker who has lower brokerage for delivery trades and also gives trade on call facility for cheap or free? zerodha charges Rs. 20 per cal, which is quite high according to me, so just throw some light on discount brokers in india, i hav read posts on traderjee forum, but they are not satisfactory…experts plz step in with ur valuable opinions…

Zerodha does chage Rs. 20 for call on trade, but I think it has the most competitive pricing. Let us know if you find some broker that charges less and also provides you advanced tools like Zerodha

I have an account with http://www.compositedge.com . They charge .006% or Rs.15/- whichever is lower for intraday. In case of delivery they charge .06% or Rs.15/- whichever is lower. So they are very low cost.

    Dear Ajinkya,

There are brokers like Finvasia who charge as low as 0.001% of the transaction amount. They charge no quarterly or annual fees. There are no hidden fees or surprises because all related fees are clearly spelt out. And, even if you are an inactive investor, you won’t be changed for not trading. They caught my attention with their extremely low commissions. It is truly a deep discount brokerage service.
Also, their research section is way better then any other broker that I have seen till date. The provide free daily research reports for members as well as non members. Check out there research section here: http://www.finvasia.com/research

Why dont you negotiate with Indiabulls, tell them that this year you are going to trade a lot, so if the brokerage is not reduced then you will move to some other broker.

What are the annual charges for Indiabulls ??

  7. Dear Ajinkya, please check with Angel Broking & Sharekhan.
