discontinuation of rider keeping basic insurance policy

has anybody idea, whether the life insurance company allows discontinuation of the attached rider, keeping basic policy continued after paying regularly for some year/s?

    thank you ,both of you for opposite answers to my query! i think, there is no mention about it in the policy document, so the company would take stand according to their business call.-i mean , in favour of their business.

    Yes you can Discontinue any Rider that you had taken up initially. I have done this with bajaj alliance and it should be available with other insurance companies too

    No,

    Insurance companies do not allow discontinuance of a rider keeping basic policy intact.
