   Thank you everyone… and to clarify yes, dentist cost is not much in India.
   But there are some procedure which are costly, unfortunately due to some accident 7 yrs ego I need to be in regular check-up. For this year cost shoot up to 16k.
   That is the reason why I was thinking about dental insurance.

   As far as I know, there are no policies which cover denatal insurance at all in India.

   Hi,
   I really don’t think that there is a big need for taking a dental insurance in India. I admit outside India there is may be a need to have it considering the high clinical costs involved. A single tooth extraction can cost upto a lakh in UK. But in India.. seriously ? How much if you have to go for a tooth extraction, or an implant, or cavity filling ? Max 5-10K. Do you really need to go for an insurance for this much amount ?

   Please confirm which city you’re in? In Bangalore, my dentist whom I’ve known for a long time (10 years) was coming up with something similar. He is part of ITTINA group. Last I know, it was not successfully launched, but he may still be offering for individual customers
