Demat account for Gold ETF

Hi

Is it worth opening demat account to buy gold ETF only?

Is it the only way to buy gold ETF?

    Yes , ETF are traded in stock exchange , so unless you have demat , how will you buy them ?

    just make sure you are not just buynig 4-5k worth of Golf ETF else the yearly cost of demat will turn out to be very costly in % terms.
