Debit Card Surrender Charges

Is it possible to surrender your Debit card and is there a charge associated with it? What is the process & what are the charges that some of the banks charge? Thank you for your help.

    Dear S, some banks may invite 100 Rs. + servioce Tax as cancellation charges. Some may do it free of cost.
