Debenture certificate pre-closure

Hi all,

i have purchased a debenture a certificate. I had asked the manager to pre-closure the debenture before the maturity date.

Will the debenture earns interest till the date of pre-closure?

The company manager had told me that i’ll not earn any interest.

can anyone give me some pointers to Act passed by government / RBI regarding debentures?
