Dear Sir,

I wish to buy pure critical illness insurance policy but i was confuse with various product offered by life and general insurance player.

My Doubts

1. all general insurance critical care policies are for short term like max up to 5 year only (ICICI Lombard) vs life insurance critical care policies. So which on to choose?

2.except icici lombard and prudencial all policy have 30 day survival clause to claim money…like in case of hear attak may be person die before 30 days but hospitalization bills exist so policy will not serve purpose.

Can you help me to choose pure critical ilness policy for me

I am 30 year old

Rgds

I don’t know which Critical Insurance policies you have checked. But most of the policies are available for 20-30 years at your age. You can check Aviva, ICICI Prudential Crisis Cover. Max Bupa has good critical illness policy which is available at very competitive rates. You can compare the premium and the critical illnesses covered and decide, all these info is available in their sites.

Purpose of Critical Illness is different from health insurance in the sense that it also compensates for the loss of income and other major expenses apart from your Hospital expenses.
