I am going to close my SBI creidt card. I rised the cancellation request through mail instead of voicecall.They answared by mail also confirming that a> My card account is closed. b> No due is there in the account c> My card is cancelled. d> They also asked to destroy the card in my possesion. However if I consider to continue they will reopen the account an reissue the card.

Now I want to know if I should ask a hard copy card closer statement which they are very much unwilling to give or the mail is sufficient.
