Coverage outside India in Term plans

I have bought a term insurance plan from HDFC life.

Policy documents does not mention anything whether death outside India is covered or not.

Can it be interpreted that death will be covered whether it happens in India or abroad

OR

It must be specifically mentioned in the policy.

    Dear subhas, I had purchased an online policy from AVIVA & later on clarified the same thing. Yes, outside India death is covered there in my policy & In my personal opinion in all term plans. Still to be double assured, you can contact HDFC Life & get it clarified.
