Conversion of shares from Satyam to mahindra satyam

Hi,

I Have purchased shares of satyam computers few years ago which has now changed to Mahindra satyam.

i would like to convert my shares to mahindra satyam. can any one guide me on the process.

    i thought that was done automatically if had it in demat form it should have been done automatically.May be not i dont know
