Continuation of Mediclaim

My friend brought mediclaim from Apollo few years back for his family. Now he is going to onsite(along with family) for 1-2 years. Is it advisable to continue the mediclaim in India as he will be back to India once the assignment at onsite is complete(it may be an year or two)?

    Dear Advait, the Indian medical cover is limited to Indian geographical boundaries. Once your friend goes outside India & stays there for long time, this Indian cover ceases to exist.
