Clarification on Short term Debit mutual funds

I’m new to Mutual fund and I would like to invest 7k-10k every month in short term Debit mutual funds. Can any one suggest me the best plans available in market ?  this short term MF comes under 80c? alternate suggestions are appreciated.

    Dear Balaji, what time frame you are looking in to park your money? What is going to be the end use of the money? How much money is at stake?

    I would like to park my surplus for short term…. I’m bit scary when it comes to equity… how abt long term debit funds?

    Dear Balaji, NO short term debt funds are not eligible for 80c benefit. Why do you want to invest in short term debt funds?
