Hi,
I am new to jagoinvestor and got very impressed with the high quality of advice and discussions. I am 33 yrs old and planning to go for a health insurance plan for my family (wife + 1 kid). My insurance advisor is suggesting Bajaj Allianz Family Floater plan with 3 lakhs cover + Extra Care cover (which will give additional cover till 10 lakhs per year). Total Premium for this combination comes to be around Rs. 9500 per year(considering I save 4000 in taxes).I have already got a standard health cover of 2.5 lakhs from my employer.
Please advise if this Bajaj allianz package sounds good or is there a better plan? Please note that I am not worried about regular minor medical expenses (like normal medicines etc.). I am going for a health cover, in case some major health costs befall us.
