Change Mutual Fund Broker

Hi All,

I have some of my MF investments in ICICIdirect.com , now due to charges I have decided to shift to another brokerage house … for MF investments.

I need to transfer my existing MF unit in ICICI direct to new brokerage house. Need some information on how this should be done.

As I have heard , we need to have to mutual funds units assigned in “Offline” status and then request new brokerage house to transfer it in their name. Please correct me if this is correct

When I approached ICICIdirect.com office they have asked me to go main office in Pune to do this which is far way. Is there a more simple method to transfer MF units from one broker to another broker using “Offline” mode.

Thanks in advance

Regards
