    Dear Mr. Sawant,

To answer in the order of your questions :

    I. Every card issuer(including Standard Chartered Bank) has T&C and Eligibility criteria for each of their cards. Assuming you qualify under their criteria, most cards can be used for paying bills and shopping in super markets. The Standard Chartered Manhattan Card (*as per their website) offers 5% cash back on super markets and departmental store purchases, which seems to meet your requirement.

II. Cash back credit card is a special type of reward credit card, which returns to the borrower a percentage of the total amount spent on his credit card over a specific period of time, usually monthly or quarterly. Banks / lenders have different terms & conditions and basis for calculation of cash back percentages and typically these are marketing strategies.

III. This Manhattan Card or any such similar card from any other credit card issuer could meet your needs. Please check other terms and conditions, such as, joining fees, annual fees, etc.

    Regards,
    Credexpert.
