Which one of the above two funds is a better fund for someone with semi aggresive approach in investment.
Dear Waris, you may invest in the fund of your choice.
Dear Ashal i already have SIPs in canara robeco equity diversified, robeco balanced and franklin bluechip.
I wanted to know if canara was a gd choice aginst reliance
I mean canara robeco and reliance equity diversified funds.
Dear Waris, on the basis of consistency in performance, Reliance Eq. Opportunities ‘ll be my choice.
Thanks a lot for your reply.
I agree with you.
Let me rephrase the question as Which of these 2 funds has given(past performance in a market cycle) and has the potential to give stable returns in a market cycle.
Dear Waris, which 2 funds you are talking about? If it’s MIP, you may opt any of the 2 mentioned by me.
What i mean is not exposing the invested money to too much risk.
then you should go for a balanced fund like HDFC Balanced / HDFC Prudence
Dear Waris, the question is still same, How much is too much? My much may be very different from your much? Somehow I feel, you should not go ahead in any Eq. MF or even balanced fund either. Hybrid funds with low Eq. exposure like HDFC MIP LTP or Reliance MIP should be your vehicle. Why? Even balanced funds remain very high on Eq. 70-75% at most of the time, so I do not think this fulfills your requirement.
Dear Waris, Can you define this Semi Aggressive thing?
