Can you comment on my Mutual fund analysis ?

I am new to MFs and based on my analysis, I’ve decided to go for the following four funds..

Can you give your suggestion..

1. DSP Black Rock Top 100
2. HDFC Top 200
3. IDFC Premier Fund
4. Birla Sunlife Equity Fund

    Dear Rekha, why are you not investing directly with the respective AMC to save on expense ratio?

    Well the funds you have selected are good, but what is the logic behind selecting these. Did you follow any asset allocation guide, have you checked what percentage of you allocation is going to largecap, large-midcap, or small-midcap funds?

    Thank you Manish. I’m planning to start in 2-3 weeks.. I did my analysis in valueresearchonline. I already have ICICI direct account.. would you recommend that or advise fundsindia?

    Hi Rekha

    These are all good mutual funds for long term investment , atleast if you want to start right away . But how did you analyse it ?
