Dear Pranay, ask your uncle to contact United India directly for sum assured increase in the same policy. Syndicate has nothing to do with your uncle’s policy now.

    Thanks

At your age your uncle will have to undergo medical tests. In a way it is good to have medicals done than getting claim getting rejected later on contest from insurance company that this particular disease was not disclosed.
Health insurance portability is in effect you can contact any insurer of your choice and ask their customer care/agent to start formalities for you. the mount of ofter will depend on health condition, I have seen insurers offer more cover on porting when in good health.
