For last few weeks I have been following your site very well, as I am not student of commerce I don’t have much idea about how to calculate earning per share . Can you guys please tell me how you guys calculate earning per share of vinati organics and book value also. I need some practical solution, not theory. Because when we see annual report ..there are often lot of things which we don’t understand.
And what exactly company means by reserve does it add to balance brought forward from last year.
Just want to know why you are not happy with the EPS figure company shows in their annual reports, or quarterly results; and want to calculate yourself? Any specific reason?
As per the 2013-14 annual report, EPS is 17.45
