Can my wife claim insurance premium under sec 80C, paid by me ?

Hi, I would like to know if the premium paid for an insurance policy by me can be claimed as an investment under sec 80/c by my wife? What conditions apply and what aspects to be kept in mind.

    Dear Kunal, if your wife’ wants to claim the amount on your policy, the prem. should be paid by her.
