Can I transfer my accounts to a bank branch near me ?

Hi ,

I have 4 accounts in sbi

1. Saving

2. Home loan (Mexgain)

3. PPF

4. SBI Life Insurance – Rinn Raksha

I want to transfer all these account to a different branch which is near to my place. Can I do it? If yes then What is the procedure?

    Dear Rakesh, transfer is possible. Apply in written to the original branch with a specific reason.

    I am not sure about Home Loan,Life Insurance accounts. But, savings …. You can…. just go the branch where you have savings account and give a letter with a reason why you wish to transfer the account to a branch of your wish. They will process your request.

    Hope, this is the same for all type of accounts.
