can i leagally do fully paid double job at any time??

Dear Sir,

I would liketo know that is there any law that prohibits me from doing double full time job simultaneously ??

i already have a  job , i am at bench for 8 months , moreover there is no scope of work till next 2 years , i want to do another job , kindly advice .

    There is no law which prevents you to do it. However, in most cases (rather all cases), the contract signed by you with your employer prohibits you to do any other job simultaneously.

    There is no absolute Indian law, but it surely can be the case from your Employer’s internal laws. Most companies stops there employees from working simultaneously with other employer.

    But this doesn’t stop you from being a Freelancer or doing any business (apart the business which your employer is currently in).
