Dear Debashish, please answer a simple question. If you die tonight, how your family ‘ll survive from tomorrow onwards? How much money ‘ll your family get from that LIC policy? What is this policy? How much sum assured is there in this policy?

    Thanks

    Hi Debasish,

Here, you have not stated as for how much value you are insured for. Looks like you are the sole earning member and have dependents. I suggest before you look at any other investment (be it for high or low returns) please insure your life for a sufficient amount by purchasing an online term insurance plan. This will secure the financial future of your dependents. Once you achieve the financial safety for them, start investing.

When you look at high returns, you need to take some risk, without some risk it is not possible to look at “high returns”. Since you are looking at Safety of your investment, I suggest you look at investing in PPF.

If you are able to take some risk, then please understand the concept of investing in Mutual Funds and then start investing in.

    Dear Debashis.

U can invest additional Rs. 4000/- with Mutual Funds. thats the better option. If u have enough knowledge and time to think over then u can enter into the stock market.and also u have to mantain some emergency fund in ur A/c always to take care of ur monthly expences. Considering that u can increase ur investments.

    Basavareddy.
