Can HDFC Cash management fund treasury advantage plan deduct TDS from my because I am NRI ?

I have invested in hdfc cash management fund treasury advantage plan retail growth since one year, now I have sold but amc has deducted TDS. Is there any tax on NRI as I am NRI. Pls give information. Regards.
