Can Buy a Flat on my Mother Name with my Home Loan?

Hi,

I am thinking to buy and register a flat in my mother name(Who is house wife) with my NRI Home loan and my deposit.

Will bank offer Home loan to register in my mother name ?

    You can go for a joint home loan and a joint registration.
    Please confirm about the provisions for an NRI though.

    I believe that wont be allowed . Every bank gives loan only if the house is in loan seeker name, else not !
