   Dear Kiran, you have 2 options with you. Please invest your time here in the forum to read past discussions & on the basis of your learnings, use the Do It Yourself thing for your portfolio. Another option is to hire a paid financial planner in your city or an online one & move ahead with his/her guidings.

   Dear Kiran,

   Study the investment objective of Top200 and then take a call. Besides, HDFC TOP200 has not given a great return in the past 2 years. Besides as you said its your retirement goal, I would suggest not to move out of it at this point in time. Retirement typically is a longterm goal and needs patience for your money to work the way you want. It doesnt require regular monitoring. Maybe quarterly or half yearly once should do. Besides, as Mr. Ashal has mentioned, you ned to pump in more towards your retirement so work towards identifying the funds with a combination of both aggressive (mid-caps), Large Caps and Alternate funds. You may do this for another 10 years till you attain 38-40 years. Maybe after that you may look at reducing the risk component of (coming out of mid-caps) and shift to large caps completely so that you capital and returns earned are protected in a decent manner.

      Hi Ashal, I don’t have any other investment. So what needs to be investment portfolio… Yes Sensex returns is also inline with Top200 so was wondering if we have some other investment portfolio…

   Firstly, I would like to know why would you want to accumulate this? Is this your retirement goal? Whats your present age? Your investment vehicle depends on your risk profile and which goes with your present age and the goal you want to achieve.

      Hi Prasanna, Yes its retirement goal… Present age is 30 Yrs… I am currently investing 5000 Per Month on HDFC Top 200 for past 1.5 years but returns are not even matching the Bank Interest.

   Dear Kiran, @ 10% yly growth rate, you need to invest around 26500 Rs. & @ 12% growth rate, you need to invest around 20000 Rs. I do not know your current portfolio, hence can not comment on the possible investment vehicles for you.
