HI,
I AM PLANNING TO PURCHASE A TERM INSURANCE FOR MYSELF. MY AGE IS 35YRS, DOB: 2ND MAY,75.
I WANT TO KNW WHICH WILL BE THE BEST & CHEAPEST TERM INSURANCE WITH REGARD’S TO CLAIM SETTLEMENT FOR ME.
I WANT TO ENSURE THERE SHOULD BE NO ANY HASSLES DURING THE CLAIM SETTLEMENT FOR MY FAMILY IN THE FUTURE.
I HAD CHECKED WITH LIC, BUT THE PREMIUM IS VERY HIGH. ALSO HAD CHECKED WITH THE PRIVATE INSURANCE COMPANIES, BUT UNSURE WHICH ONE TO OPT FOR AS EVERYONE CLAIM THAT THEIR TERM INSURANCE PRODUCT IS BEST IN THE MARKET.

U must go Birla sun Life insurance plan. In Some plan u can take Enhanced sum Assured at marginal increase in premium.
As far as claim settlement is there, do not hide or give wrong information about yourself in application form. Insurance company (LIC or any private) can reject death claim if they found that applicant had given wrong information to them like wrong DOB, certain health health conditions etc.
If you pay all your premium on time & give right information, no company can decline death claim. Yes, they will take come time to settle the claim, if it is early claim. There can be delay but not decline.
Choose between ICICI Pru or Ageon Religare online term plans. At your age, for approx. Rs.14,200/- p.a., you can get S.A. of Rs.1 crore.

1st – death claim settlement ratio
2nd – brand & financial strength
3rd – in last comes low premium
My suggestion will be go for HDFC or Birla.
