Aviva, has plans to exit India. Any idea how this will affect existing Term Insurance plans and if the premiums will change?

Thanks,

Ram.

  1. dear Ram, the prem. for AMP SANMAR customers or the original T & C were not changed a bit by Relinace. So in case Aviva exits & sell all stake back to Dabur or someone else, the prem. for existing policies ‘ll not be affected.

    thanks

  2. Dear Ram, instead of offering a direct answer to you, I w’d ask you to search a bit for AMP SANMAR. Post your findings here in this discussion.

      Ashal,

      Thanks for your reply.

I do remember that AMP Sanmar was bought by Reliance Life Insurance but I was neither at that time nor now able to find out whether or how the premium changed for the customers.

I know the article I posted also speaks about Dabur possibly buying, but again, my question is just to find out the impact on the premium for existing policy holders.

      Thanks,
      Ram.
