As PPF interest calculation method changed to daily basis ?

Hi,

Has PPF interest calculation method changed to daily basis? As earlier it was lowest of 5th to last month balance.  I have called IDBI bank for some PPF related work and they told me that RBI has changed it to daily basis. They asked me to check internet if i dont believe 🙂

Is it true ?

    Hehe, That was awesome Ashal. Now I wonder why that lady is not able to give me net banking password from 2 months and how she managed to get job in IDBI bank.
