ONHello,
I am looking for a medical insurance for my family; all below 40 years of age as of now. I have zeroed in on 2 policies – Apollo Optima Restore and Religare.
Any feedback on which one is better? Looking for the answer in terms of service
Thanks,
Rajat

Hello,
I am looking for the answers in terms of service after taking the insurance. For example, any specific catch in the policy (like Tarunn mentioned) or where the features are better etc. I did go through both the policies and could not find too much of a difference, but then I am new to this and hence looking for another opinion or feedback based on experiences.
I do not want to go into the premium part for 2 reasons:
1) They keep changing based on regulatory changes.
2) Dont mind paying a higher premium, if the policy is good and worth it. This is for the safety of my family’s future, hence wont object on the premiums.
Having said this, I did find some differences with regards to Room rent limits etc, but am looking for feedback other than premium. BTW, Religare is generally more cheaper than Apollo in most aspects.
Thanks,
Rajat
check out how long its renewable and the premiums at extremes of age. usually they shoot up after 60.
Kindly let us know the results too
Optima Restore has a catch in restoring your amount. If you took 2L policy but spent 1.9 L on your insurance in a year, they wont restore your amount till entire 2L is spent. Thus you might run places to get sick and spend the rest of 10K. Check the document carefully since atleast 1.5 year back this was the case.
