ONHi,
I am planning to buy health insurance policy for myself and wife. I am already having company health insurance but thinking of buying personal cover.
Apollo Munich Optima Restore or Max Bupa Health insurance seemed a good option. Any suggestions which one should I got for?
Also does annual premium increases with age bracket? Lets say, today I am 40 and paying Rs 5000 annually. Will premium change when I become 45 or it will remain same as Rs. 5000/-
Thanks,
Padmanabh

Go through the comments section in details, there is lot of info there.
What I have heard is that For Max Bupa it seems premium increases with every year but for Optima Restore it increases with age band, may not be necessarily with every year. Again, this is something which I had read, did not verify yet from their website. Also, premium consideriation is just one of the aspect of health insurance.
For a comparative analysis of these two, you can refer to this https://www.jagoinvestor.com/2010/07/review-of-heartbeat-health-insurance-policy-from-max-bupa.html
Dear Nikhil, you may purchase Optima Restore. Yes prem. are linked with the age bands & it ‘ll increase in future as & when your age band changes.
Thanks
Ashal
You can check the premium variation with age just by going to their sites and entering different date of birth.
Premiums of Apollo optima restore increases drastically after around 45-50 years age.
