Dear SYED, the basic problem in your query, you & your wife are treating each other as 2 individuals & not a common financial plan for a family. Regarding the emergency fund, please start creating one by stopping to Gold fund investment. Please stop that PO RD also.
Do not opt for Gold scheme.
Please purchase a term plan for yourself as well as health plan for your family as early as possible.
