advise for short-term investment

Have some amount ~Rs.1,50,000 and would like to invest for short-term 9do not know the period), actually i am looking for house in my city, will require same amount to buy home. which is the best option to invest?

    Put the money in a Short Term Fund (with dividend payouts).

    This will keep the liquidity intact with tax-free dividends. A bank FD is another option, but with “unknown” period and tax liabilities, it is a second option.
