ONHi All,
I need to buy a Health Insurance Policy (Family Floater Plan) for myself and my Parents.
I have finalized Max Bupa’s “Heartbeat Family First” plan, as it offers renewal for life and good features. I find it a bit expensive though. Please suggest, if “Heartbeat Family First” is a good Plan or should I consider some other plans as well. Also, please do suggest what all should I consider before buying a Health Insurance Plan.
PS: MAX BUPA doesn’t involve any TPA’s, as it deals directly.
Thanking all of you in advance.
With Regards,
J

Hello Mahavir,
Thanks a lot for sharing the information. I have read various articles on your Blog and found them to be very detailed, informative and useful.
I did check the Oriental’s Happy Family Floater Plan, however I have finalized and applied for the Max Bupa’s Family First Silver Plan. Considering the rising cost of Healthcare, I decided to opt for the maximum cover I can get for my Parents. Hence I have opted for Max Bupa’s Family First Silver Plan (5 lacs individual + 15 lacs Floater cover). As suggested by you, I also wanted to opt for the Gold Plan. However, due to some budget constraints for the next couple of months, I opted for Silver Plan. I also, had a discussion with Max Bupa’s representatives and they assured that I can get my plan upgraded to a Gold Plan at the time of renewals and add more family members as well by paying some extra premium. I will surely upgrade my Plan at the time of renewal.
Please do share, if I am missing out on something and should be careful about.
Thank you again and wish you a nice day ahead!
Kind Regards,
J
