      2 Years : 20K per month : Target 5L+

        If you do RD with 9% interest compounded quarterly then on maturity you will get 5.2 lacks (39.5 k interest) and if you pay 30% tax on interest than also you will be getting 5.08 lacks.

    Vijay, 2 year is very short time and mutual fund investment should be done for long term ( usually 5 years or mostly 10 years).
    Do RD for short term goal (1 year or 2 year).
