If Mutual funds Company is in Loss, does it mean that my money is also lost ?

I saw one news paper report that some MF houses like Principal/L&T are not getting profits ad are in loss. My investment in Principal mutual fund in particular is it safe.SEBi gives guarantee?

    No, you investment value depends on the NAV of the fund that u r investing in…. if company is in loss, it doesn’t mean that ur money is lost…
