Hi there,
I am a webdesigner and don’t have much knowledge about investments. But taking advice from broker i have started minimum amount 500/- every month in HDFC Equity Fund -Equity- Diversified. i am planning to invest it in for long time. Am i on a right way?? Please advise.

The above advices are considering you can take risk of loosing a big chunk of your corpus in short run . You need to accept that if there is a severe crash, then you will see your corpus erode by 50% or more . Are you ready for it considering that in long run you will get good results ?

You are on the right track Gaurav. Don’t look at your portfolio for the next 3 years, just keep doing it. Don’t discontinue also.
