Commodities
Hi Friends,
I am new bee in STOCK Market & i am in Learning Phase. Recently i am hearing about GOLD Commodity Trading in TV’s which attracted me & I have the following Questions in Mind:
1. GOLD Commodity Trading is the Best & Can expect Very less probability for LOSS – The following are the justifications they are giving:
a. The chances of going UP Gold Prices is high in a week rather than going DOWN. (Ex. In a Week’s duration, if Prices fall 2 days, the prices will be UP for 5 Days, so we will never end up in loss)
b. We needed a lot of technical knowledge & Experience for doing STOCK market Investment / Mutual Fund (Other than GOLD Commodity trading)
c. We cant predict the Prices for any stock, but for GOLD, anyone can tell of sure that it will go UP always.
2. We do not need to Pay entire amount for the Gold we are Purchasing
– How much its true, If its true, how much amount (in %) we have to Pay
– Also, It its true, then Will this is one of the reason for going GOLD Prices up?
– Recent TV Ads about GOLD Saving Schemes by popular Jewellery shops are doing this method to their customers (Ex. http://www.lalithajewellery.net/free_gold_plan/)
3. We do not charge for the Training or Opening the account for You!
– If they didn’t charge for Training / opening trading account, where will they get Profited / get their fees. (In TV they didn’t revealed this info)
I would like to hear detailed answers by many of the experts here. Thanks in Advance.
Which is the best investment among e-Gold vs Gold-etf vs physical-Gold ?
Sir,
I want to invest in E Gold 1 unit per month ,since it provides me the opportunity to convert demat Egold into physical gold at every 8 unit(8grams) while ETF and other form of demat gold dont allow this facility.
Rest of things r like ETF.
I want to know what r the other charges that i have to pay for E Gold
Hi,
I would like to invest some of my savings. I am thinking where to park my money…. will that be gold or silver or real estate?
I personally prefer real estate as the first priority, then silver and lastly gold.
Real estate.. because I am thinking of renting that out later to get a constant source of income. Or since I am buying it around an emerging IT hub area may be I can sell it off after 3yrs that might give me a 15% annualised return after repaying the home loan(if I need to take it).
Also I found that Religare has come up with there NCD issue, where they have mentioned guaranteed annualised return as 12%. But no where have they mentioned whether it\’s cumulative or simple ROI.
Any advice will be highly appreciated

Nayandeep

Hi,
I had been to a seminar on financial planning by a local wealth management company a couple of weeks ago. Compnay manages private wealth and has delivered 24% returns over the years by investing people\\\’s money in various products according to their need.
In the seminar, apart from all the financial products (PPF, MF, MIPs etc) he suggested rather insisted on putting some money in commodity exchange e.g in gold silver, copper etc. How easy it is for retail investor to judge fluctuations in commodities? All articles, tv shows suggest only PPF, MF, MIP, FD etc thus I\\\’ve never heard anybody mentioning about investment in commodities for financial/retirement planning. Any thoughts?

greetings,
IS there any demat form of investment present for silver other than futures?
any one have idea of e-silver or e-gold provided by NSEL exchange?
please give you idea on this
BR
please tell me how to invest in commodities especially gold and copper and also tell me the sites to do trading . At present i,m residing in US(Atlanta).
Like eGold and eSilver, do all commodities trade in the “e” form? For instance, I notice that commodities like maize, corn, etc. have “spot prices”. Once a person buys at the spot price, does it mean that the person has to take the delivery? Can a person choose to hold commodities like maize, corn, etc. in electronic form and then sell them later (like shares from a demat account)?
Please note that I’m not talking about buying futures/options in commodities…but rather “electronic delivery based buying”.
Thanks,
Ram.
