I have a loan against LIC policy purchased when I was in Jalandhar. As a matter a fact, I never bothered about repaying it or paying alt least the interest. Now I am at Chennai and when I try to find some means to replay it, I am not able to get any.
Can I repay loan against LIC policy online or remotely? It look as if LIC has taken care no information about this is available anywhere as I could not find anything about how to replay anywhere in the internet. Please help.

Thank you so much for your responses.
Yes, I did contact the local customer help line at LIC Jalandhar via mail and to my surprise, they responded to my mail and called me to explain what I should do!.
I will have to send cheque for the entire interest amount as single pay.
They advised to send a crossed cheque in the name of LIC with no amount filled, to any friends in Jalandhar and he can get and fill in the interest amount as per the day when cheque is being submitted and submit it.
Principal part, I can pay off partially also.

LIC should have sent you letter when you defaulted on payments of the interest part. Did you change your address when you shifted out of Jalandhar? why dont you contact your agent in Jalandhar he/she should be able to help you. You wll have to issue cheque in favour of LIC that you can send to your agent.
