@Khalid

Even I like that one the most .

@Anonymous

There are other information missing like your Risk appetite, but for 10+ yrs, I would suggest Mutual Funds .. Put all the money in a debt fund for now or a liquid fund and invest in a Diversified mutual fund through STP .

@Rohit

I would change that :) . thanks

Sunil

You have missed giving me one detail , thats rate of interest . Rate of interest will depend on where you invest . I will give you answer for 2 rates of 8% and 12%

how much to invest monthly in sip to get 75 lakh after 15 years (pay for full 15 yrs)

8% : 22000 per month
12% : 15000 per month

how much to invest for 5 years only,(letting the money remain in the account later for 10 years)

8% : 45000
12% : 27,500

You should look for the formula i have put on my blog to calculate these things .

Sesh

Invest in SBI bank FD or share ? If you are talking about FD , you will get around 8% per year and you will have to pay tax as per your slab , it will be added as your income .
