You are talking about Securities transaction tax (STT) while buying and selling of shares , that as a different thing. You have to pay it anyways on equity transaction .
However at the end of the year you have to pay tax on your income from equity (if less than 1 yrs) , its 15% flat right now .

I want to know about tax?
We purchase stocks pay different kinds of tax, sell stocks pay taxes,
whether we gain or loss we pay tax that's ok, but what about when we declare our income at end of year then is it again we have to pay tax on our purchase of shares in which we earn profit or loss.
Thanks

hello Manish,

I want to know about tax?<br

That you could make a profit by adopting a position on the index? After a good budget, or good corporate results, or the onset of a stable government, many people feel that the index would go up.
